Vintage Deluxo TV Lounge Chair - Sweden, 1960s

An elegant Swedish Deluxo TV lounge chair from the 1960s, featuring a high backrest, separate headrest and a beautifully light wooden frame. Its classic Scandinavian Mid-Century proportions make it both visually distinctive and exceptionally comfortable for relaxing and reading.

The chair has been fully and professionally restored. The birch frame has been carefully restored and stained to enhance the natural grain and give the wood its warm, deep tone. The internal cushioning and upholstery have also been completely renewed.

For the new upholstery, we selected the iconic Reflex by Raf Simons for Kvadrat — a distinctive textile defined by its bold, wide graphic stripes. The fabric composition is 87% new wool, 8% viscose and 5% nylon.

The combination of rich blue and deep navy emphasises the architecture of the chair and gives this classic 1960s design a bold, contemporary character.

With its high backrest, separate headrest, generously upholstered seat and comfortable armrests, the chair offers excellent support and is particularly comfortable for longer periods of relaxation.
