An elegant antique Rococo-style armchair dating from approximately 1880. One of its most distinctive and unusual features is the exceptionally wide oval backrest with rich carved detailing, giving the chair a striking and instantly recognisable silhouette.
The frame is crafted from solid mahogany, with the original brass details preserved on the legs. Gracefully curved armrests, carved elements and the decorative wooden frame reflect the refined character of late 19th-century furniture.
The chair has been fully and professionally restored with respect for its age and original character. The wooden elements have been carefully restored while preserving the natural depth of the mahogany and its beautiful vintage patina.
The upholstery has been completely renewed using a high-quality Kaufmann fabric featuring a distinctive and expressive botanical print. The vibrant pattern creates a beautiful contemporary contrast with the dark mahogany while retaining the chair’s historic character.
